I am the Scholarly Communication Librarian for Butler University, a private liberal arts school in Indianapolis, Indiana. I hold a Master's of Science in Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin School of Information. I'm an RSS fiend, calligrapher, amateur developer, cardigan enthusiast, and cat person.
My professional interests lie in making information more accessible, usable, and permanent. This led me to study and work with institutional repositories during my tenure at UT Austin and pursue a career in scholarly communication and digital scholarship. I have worked with DSpace, Islandora, and Digital Commons repositories and am very interested in Omeka as a platform for curating digital content.
